Golden West Security was established in 1969 to provide professional, quality security officers for commercial and residential customers. We service the Santa Clarita Valley and San Fernando Valley.

We are seeking a full-time swing shift supervisor to service one of our most prestigious accounts, Galpin Motors (North Hills, CA)

Wednesday - Sunday 1600-0000

Job Duties:

• Cover vacant posts yourself when required.
• Make sure that all staff follows all laws, policies, and procedures that are in place, and conduct training on policies and procedures.
• Communicate with all levels of staff and clientele effectively and routinely.
• Inspect client sites to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with post orders, making sure you cover any vacant posts as necessary.
• Perform and think independently and on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Assists with gaps in coverage; responds to calls for service.
• Inform upper management of critical information throughout the shift.
• Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, the presence of unauthorized persons, or usual occurrences.
• Ensure officers are properly trained, executing, and reporting in a timely manner.
• Supervise and mentor subordinate staff in the performance of their duties.
• Conduct performance evaluations; makes recommendations in matters concerning employee discipline and retention
• Ensure all events occurring on shift are accurately documented · Conducts inspections of personnel and equipment
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Note: Hiring bonus will be paid in two increments. $250 once completing 90 days of employment. $250 once completing 180 days of employment. (must maintain good attendance and no disciplinary issues to qualify).
